Joe + Kara | Married
Joe + Kara’s wedding day was the embodiment of modern romance. We began the day with them at the Chase Park Plaza for a few getting ready photos. They then hopped in an Uber and met us at Tower Grove Park where we took a little time for some portraits of the two of them before their walk down the aisle at the nearby Wild Carrot. Their ceremony took place outdoors and despite the chill in the air that day, it felt so warm and intimate. Guests were then invited indoors for cocktails, dinner, and dancing.
In no particular order, here are a few things we loved most about Joe and Kara’s wedding!
- They got ready together. This is something that we wish more couples would do! <3
- They included several different meaningful traditions and elements in their day to pay homage to their families and heritage. Some of these included being married under a chuppah, jumping the broom, breaking the glass, dancing the Horah, and having a mariachi band during their cocktail hour.
- They kept things simple yet stylish, and I can’t think of even one high stress moment throughout the day.
We feel so lucky to have been a part of Joe + Kara’s day. Be sure to check out their full vendor list below! We also included a “stop-motion” video at the end if you’d like to take a look at what their entire day looked like from our perspective :)
