Grace + Matt | Engaged

So excited to share this session with you all! I met Grace a couple years back when she was the planner for a wedding we photographed. I was immediately drawn to her friendly, warm, and outgoing nature. Last summer we had the chance to hang out + work together again when Grace organized a wedding vendor booth at Pride. We were absolutely thrilled when she and her fiancé Matt reached out to us to shoot their wedding. Grace is in the wedding industry herself, and Matt is an awesome street photographer, so the fact that they chose us really means a lot.

We started off their engagement session in their Tower Grove home. Grace and Matt love to cook together, and they also wanted to include their sweet doggo Bear in some photos. He’s a big black lab that definitely lives up to his namesake. I love in-home stuff because it’s so cozy and personal. After that we headed outside and began shooting under very threatening, stormy skies. Matt took us to one of his favorite secret spots and shortly after that the clouds opened up on us. I’m not scared of a little rain, and neither are Grace and Matt, so we kept shooting until it we were basically drenched, ha!

Scroll on through to see some of my favorite shots of this beautiful couple. We are so excited for their January 2020 wedding at Wild Carrot!
