We are so happy you're here! Being married ourselves, we know how overwhelming it can be when you start planning your wedding, especially when it comes to photography. With so much talent out there, we are absolutely honored and humbled that you are considering us as your wedding photographer. We take a great deal of pride in shooting weddings - and not just when it comes to creating images. What we really want is for you to feel like you have two extra friends along for the day, who just happen to have cameras plastered to their faces.  We only take on about 20 weddings each year so that we can give each couple the attention they most definitely deserve. Some other photographers may shoot 40-50 which is amazing, but we don't want you to feel like you're just the next couple in our assembly line of weddings. If we're going to document your most important day yet, let's feel like friends. Cool? :)

Since we most likely haven't met in person yet, we hope that you are here because our work has inspired you in some way. We really love when couples feel an honest connection to our style of shooting, and if you haven't explored our website fully, we highly encourage you to do so. Check out some of our recent blog posts, and browse a full wedding gallery too!

Our Approach

You're still here? Awesome. That means you're liking what you're seeing, which is great! As you may have noticed from our blog, portfolio, or the wedding gallery linked above, we aren't the most "traditional" shooters. While we don't get super crazy experimental, we really do believe that photography is an art form that should evoke emotion. That is what we strive for, first and foremost. We love images that are full of LIFE - joy, laughter, nostalgia, sometimes even a touch of sadness. We love documenting loud, happy, fun moments, as well as quiet, peaceful, still ones. We want you to feel the actual weight of the emotions you felt on your wedding day when you look back at your images. We aren't the type of photographers that will be over-directing your day or asking you to stage a ton of images. Instead we prefer to document the day as it unfolds (but also love getting the chance to create some unique portraits for you as well). We also don't recreate Pinterest photos or someone else's work. Your relationship is unique, your wedding is unique - your photographs should be too! If you decide you'd rather go with a more traditional approach, I promise you we will understand and even give you recommendations. We truly think that you should go with a photographer that fits your vision, even if it's not us!

Okay, now. If you're STILL still here? On to the details :)

What's Included

Every wedding collection includes the following:

2 Photographers

A complimentary Engagement Session

High-resolution digital images delivered in an online, password-protected gallery active for 90 days

An album credit to put toward one of our beautiful, modern books

The Collections

Premiere collection

Full day of wedding coverage (12 hours max)

$500 Album Credit

10 hours of wedding coverage

$400 Album Credit

These two collections are best for full day events. For example, if you are planning to have a ceremony earlier in the afternoon with a reception that starts several hours later, 10 or 12 hours would be ideal in order to cover the whole day.

collection b

8 hours of wedding coverage

$300 Album Credit

collection c

6 hours of wedding coverage

$150 Album Credit

These two collections are best for ceremonies that start later in the day, leading almost straight into the reception (or cocktail hour). Most couples that choose this type of schedule for their wedding day opt to do a 'first look'  so that portraits can be taken before the ceremony. Collection B is our most popular collection.

Extras + Albums

Additional coverage: $350/hour

Day after session: $400

Signature Artbook: $1050

Artbook: $850

Next Steps

If you're interested in booking us, the next step would be to set up an in-person meeting or a Google Hangout/Skype call so we can make sure the vibe is right! As you've probably gathered so far, we think it's super important for couples to personally connect with their photographers. You'll be in contact with them over the next several months and they will be at your side almost every minute of your wedding day. So you should hire someone you really really like! We'd love to set up a meeting over coffee, appetizers, or cocktails, or have a face to face video call. Since we have a kiddo at home, sometimes Katie is the only one available for in-person meetings, and sometimes Mike is able to join her - it just depends on the day! Let us know what works best for you and we will do our very best to accommodate you!

Should you decide to book, our booking process is very simple. No paper contracts, everything is done online through a client portal. It will contain a quote for whichever collection you're interested in, a couple of questionnaires for the engagement session and wedding details, an e-sign contract, and the option to either pay the deposit online or send a check. We like to keep things as uncomplicated as we can!

A signed contract and 30% retainer is required to hold your wedding date.
